The NHNE China International Health and Nutrition Expo (Autumn) will be held from October 21 to 23, 2026, at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) in Beijing. The exhibition will bring together brands and ingredient manufacturers from more than 30 countries and regions worldwide, covering sectors such as dietary supplements, foods for special medical purposes, probiotics, and functional ingredients.
The scale announced for this edition includes more than 270,000 square meters of exhibition space, over 4,000 exhibitors, 200,000 professional visitors, and more than 150 concurrent conferences and events. As the exhibition has not yet taken place, the actual attendance and exhibitor figures remain to be seen once the event is held.
The concentration of brands and ingredient manufacturers at the exhibition offers one way to understand its business value: the scope for exchange may cover both finished-product procurement and upstream ingredient selection. For professional visitors with procurement or product development needs, meeting companies from different categories at one event can help them compare product directions, ingredient solutions, and potential partners in one place. Exhibitors, in turn, may have opportunities to engage with business needs across different stages of the supply chain. Whether these exchanges lead to cooperation will still depend on how well supply and demand align and on subsequent discussions.
The presence of sectors such as dietary supplements, foods for special medical purposes, probiotics, and functional ingredients also means that visitors need to define their priorities based on their own business needs. The information relevant to finished-product procurement differs from that needed for ingredient selection. The exhibition's broad range of categories does not, in itself, mean that every type of need will be met to the same extent. Exhibitor lists, product information, and conference agendas released later will help visitors better assess the value of specific business connections.
Based on the arrangements announced so far, this edition will provide a concentrated opportunity for showcasing products and exchanging ideas. However, exhibition space, exhibitor numbers, and the number of conference sessions primarily reflect the scale of the event; they do not directly indicate growth in industry demand or an increase in company orders. The specific products and procurement needs presented during the exhibition, along with the progress of post-event cooperation, will be key to further assessing its business outcomes.
